1. Ninh Van Beach, Nha Trang
Roughly an hour’s drive (60km) from Nha Trang, the 10km long beach features golden sands and refreshingly blue waters. This area attracts less foreign visitors, therefore, making it a much calmer and untouched destination. There are a number of resorts and five-star hotels popping up in the area, perfect for a relaxing getaway.
2. Long Beach in Phu Quoc Island
Located on the west coast of Phu Quoc Island, with 20km of mostly deserted sand and idyllic coconut palms. The beach is perfect for sunbathing, swimming, relaxing and watching the sunset. With incredible tropical views, Long Beach is one of the best beaches Phu Quoc has.
3. Cua Dai Beach in Hoi An
In the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Hoi An, Cua Dai Beach is easy to reach by bike or taxi. The white sands and beachfront restaurants attract visitors all year round. Enjoy a cocktail on your deck chair with an umbrella shielding you from the sun and watch the sunset over the Cham Islands just off the shore.
4. Con Son Island in Con Dao Archipelago
Con Son Island’s emerald green waters and white sands make it an ideal beach spot. Lo Voi Beach has vast white sands and the gentle shallow waters make it a great place to paddle. The best beach to visit is Dam Trau Beach which has clean, soft sand and glittering water that reaches as far as the eye can see. The beaches are host to bars and restaurants perfect for eating fresh Vietnamese food while looking out onto the water.
5. Quy Nhon Beaches in Binh Dinh Province
A small and unassuming seaport town in the Binh Dinh Province, Quy Nhon offers a unique experience for travellers. Stay right on the beach at Life’s a Beach Backpacker a short drive from Quy Nhon and make full use of the private beach. Popular resorts in Quy Nhon include AVANI Quy Nhon Resort & Spa and Seagull Hotel.
6. Doi Duong Beach in Phan Thiet city

7. Non Nuoc Beach in Da Nang city
Non Nuoc is a small village which has been inhabited since the 15th century. The beach can be found just east of the village near Da Nang. The stretch of sand is a welcomed break from city life and takes over 5km of coastline with white sands and unpolluted waters.
8. My Khe Beach in Quang Ngai province
A great destination for swimming, My Khe beach covers 7km of sand along the coast. There are a handful of beachfront restaurants to visit, which get particularly busy at the weekend. Head to the beach during off-peak season and avoid holidays and weekends to be in with a chance of having the beach to yourself.
