Vietnam has quickly become a very popular tourist destination for foreigners. You can find tourists from all over the world here, such as Australians, Germans, Chinese, French, Brazilians, et cetera. But why are so many people drawn to Vietnam? Well, for instance, it is a very affordable country to travel to (depending on where you are from, of course). It has also become a favorite amongst other travelers who’s been there before, and once they come home, they spread the word about their journey to Vietnam. It could also be because of the unique and original cuisine in Vietnam, which has many craving for more. Whatever reason, Vietnam is a country that has a lot to offer. Whether you are looking to go backpacking on a tighter budget, there are many hostels everywhere. If you are traveling with a bigger budget, there are many high-end restaurants, luxurious hotels and beautiful resorts where you can check in and relax.
If this all sounds appealing to you, why not head over to Vietnam. If you are from Macau, you will need to apply for a Vietnam Visa before arriving. There are three options for you: Apply for an e-visa (30 days, single entry) or obtain a Visa on Arrival and the other is to get a visa through the Vietnamese Embassy or Consulate in your country.
1. Electronic visa or Vietnam e-visa for Macau passport holders
From 01 Feb 2019, under Decision 17/2019/NĐ-CP of the Government of Vietnam, citizens of Macau are eligible to apply online for an e-visa of Vietnam online (e-visa is a single entry valid for staying 30 days).
Macau passport holders, who want to visit Vietnam for less than 30 days for a single trip, can apply online for an e-visa directly at the government website https://evisa.immigration.gov.vn(please note that the fee is non-refundable if you apply your e-visa at the government website).
If you want to secure your e-visa with refundable policy (100% satisfied or get back your money) you can apply your e-visa through our easy form application (filling your entry date, entry and exit port of arrival then submit your passport copy online) then we will take care the rest of procedure to get your e-visa on time as promise.
Note : if you want to visit Vietnam for multiple times in one month or want to visit Vietnam for more than one month, please choose options below :
2. Visa on Arrival – Apply online for pre-approval then pick up your visa on arrival at the airport of Vietnam
To apply for Vietnam visa on arrival, you will only need your computer (or phone) and internet. You can apply for this from everywhere in the world. It is easy, fast, effective and you don’t have to send any important documents anywhere. What you need to do is fill out an Online Application Form, wait for your confirmation letter and get the approval letter. You will normally receive it within 2 working days. When everything is done, don’t forget to print out the finalized document, bring it to the airport in Vietnam and get it stamped by one of the immigration officers.
This visa will help you get a multi-entry visa, so you can visit other countries and still be able to come back to Vietnam without having to apply for a visa again. However, be noted that if you do apply for a VOA, you can only enter Vietnam by air. So if you are planning on coming with car, bus, train, et cetera, this visa will not be a good option for you.
2. Apply for a visa through the Vietnamese Embassy or Consulate nearby Macau
If you choose to get your visa through the Vietnamese Embassy in China, you will be instructed step by step on how to apply for a visa there. You will need to come to the embassy at least two times. The first time, you will submit the required documents, and the second time you have to pick up your Vietnam Visa. This can be a bit more inconvenient if you don’t live close by for example, and it also takes a bit longer to apply for and receive the visa. However, it is one of the options so if this fits you better, you will be glad to know that it’s one of the choices.
Hopefully you feel more secure in the visa process and understand it better. Never before has it been so easy to apply for visas, either online or in the embassy, so don’t hesitate – book your trip to Vietnam now and you will have the time of your life!
