Vietnam is one of the most diverse countries and you won’t find yourself bored here. In fact, you will feel quite the opposite – that sometimes there are too many things to do and see! The country has UNESCO World Heritage Sites that is worth visiting. Go to Halong Bay to see the thousands of limestone rock formations that have been there for millions and millions of years. There is also the charming, small city Hoi An, with its beautiful architecture and lanterns that light up the ancient rivertown at night. There are also many impressive landscapes throughout the country such as the rice terraces in Sapa, the mountains in Ha Giang and the river by Ninh Binh. If you prefer to relax, why not go to one of the many beaches throughout the coast in Vietnam. One of the most popular ones is in Nha Trang.
Whatever you are looking for on your vacation, you will always find that there is something to do in Vietnam. Before you start booking for flights though, you have to make sure that you apply for a Vietnam visa. As a citizen of Lithuania, you have two options; the first is to apply for a Visa on Arrival (VOA) or go to the Vietnamese Embassy or Consulate.
1. Electronic visa or Vietnam e-visa for Lithuanian passport holders
From 01 Feb 2019, under Decision 17/2019/NĐ-CP of the Government of Vietnam, citizens of Lithuania are eligible to apply online for an e-visa of Vietnam online (e-visa is a single entry valid for staying 30 days).
Lithuanian passport holders, who want to visit Vietnam for less than 30 days for a single trip, can apply online for an e-visa directly at the government website https://evisa.immigration.gov.vn(please note that the fee is non-refundable if you apply your e-visa at the government website).
If you want to secure your e-visa with refundable policy (100% satisfied or get back your money) you can apply your e-visa through our easy form application (filling your entry date, entry and exit port of arrival then submit your passport copy online) then we will take care the rest of procedure to get your e-visa on time as promise.
Note : if you want to visit Vietnam for multiple times in one month or want to visit Vietnam for more than one month, please choose options below :
2. Visa on Arrival – Apply online for pre-approval then pick up visa on arrival at the airport of Vietnam
This is a very popular choice if you want to apply for a Vietnam visa because of its convenience, quickness, safety and it is also inexpensive. It gives you multi-entries, so you can go to another country and come back to Vietnam. You can apply for this anywhere in the world. All you need to do is have a computer and access to the internet. With a Visa on Arrival, there is no need to send your passport or any other important private documents. What you need to do is fill out an Online Application Form, wait for your confirmation letter and you will normally receive a Visa Approval Letter within 2 working days. When everything is done, don’t forget to print out the finalized document, bring it to the airport in Vietnam and get it stamped by one of the immigration officers.
If you forgot to apply for a visa in good time, there is also the opportunity to get an Emergency Visa. It is then proceeded from 30 minutes to 4 hours. You will then receive an approval letter via email before boarding the plane. When you land in the country, the visa will be ready and stamped for you.
3. Apply for a visa through the Vietnamese Consulate or Embassy in the nearby countries of Lithuania
The second option is applying for a visa at the Vietnamese Consulate or Vietnamese Embassy in Lithuania. If you choose to go this way, you have to bring your passport and any relevant documents to the consulate or embassy. If you live far away from the Embassy or Consulate, it might be a bit inconvenient for you. Sometimes the progress of your application will take a longer time as well, especially if there are important documents that are missing.
When this is all done, you just need to wait for your visa to be accepted and you are ready to go to Vietnam! We promise you that you won’t regret it. But be careful… you might end up falling in love with the country!
